Our Year at Oakley Home Access

It is hard to believe that another year is coming to a close. This year was an exciting return to a sense of normalcy for us here at Oakley Home Access. After several years of being apart, we got to meet in person with our community partners, see our clients’ faces without a mask, and attend conferences around New England and the country. In today’s blog we want to highlight a few exciting things that happened in 2022, and some things we look forward to in 2023!

First and foremost we want to thank our entire team here at Oakley Home Access. The passion this team shares for our mission is unrivaled in the industry, and we love all of the positive feedback we received this year from customers and community partners.

In our front office we welcomed both Destiny Lipe and Liz Manganella to the team. Their customer service experience and organizational skills will ensure you have a great experience with Oakley Home Access from first contact to project completion.

Our newest member of the business development team joins us after many years with Ocean State Center for Independent Living. Melissa Rosenberg is active in the Massachusetts community fostering new and nurturing existing relationships with community partners. We are excited to have Melissa on our team!

Finally, we introduce two additions to our skilled technician team. Stan Banalowitz III and Justin Nutting  are both skilled craftsmen who provide excellent customer service to our clients. Their hard work has been essential to our success this year.

Last year we were excited to introduce the Stiltz Home Lift into our diverse range of offered products. We have been installing these lifts throughout the RI and CT community and were very excited to install a Stiltz Lift in our Oakley Home Access Showroom. This lift is bringing many clients into our showroom to actually get hands-on experience with the lift. We invite all interested clients to come in and meet with an assessor in the showroom to see if a Stiltz Home Lift can be a good fit for your home.

Some exciting partnerships occurred in 2022 as well. We are proud to be a partner with South County Health and their diverse network of services. We align perfectly with their mission to promote wellness, and not just treat sickness. Preventative medicine and preventative interventions are the cheapest and most efficient form of healthcare. We have always been passionate about getting into homes and assessing BEFORE the falls occur, and BEFORE nursing home admissions occur. Now, with our partnership with South County Health, we only hope to expand on that mission and work together with these like minded professionals.

Another partnership we expanded upon in 2022 is our work with the Ocean State Center for Independent Living (OSCIL). OSCIL is a pillar of the RI community with their hard work and funding for individuals with disabilities. This nonprofit’s mission is to provide a range of Independent Living Services to enhance, through self-direction, the quality of life of persons with disability and to promote integration into the community. We could not align better with their mission and love to have another resource in Rhode Island for funding of home modifications. Working together with like minded professionals not only makes our day to day operations easier, but ensures that THE CLIENT is getting the best service possible. We are so grateful for all the community partners we worked with in 2022!

We wish all of our RI, MA, and CT communities a happy holiday season. It was our pleasure and privilege serving these communities in 2022 and we look forward to an exciting 2023!
