Our Story

Oakley Home Access is a unique team of home safety experts who are passionate about aging in place, fall prevention, and home accessibility. Owned and operated by a registered, licensed, CAPS certified Rhode Island, Connecticut, & Massachusetts Contractor and a registered, licensed Occupational Therapist. They provide free home safety assessments with function and safety in mind. Collaborating with individuals and their loved ones and healthcare providers in order to create simple solutions for maximizing mobility.

Justin Oakley and Mike Vieira created Oakley Home Access in November 2015 while both engaged in their respective professions. Justin and Mike recognized a need in the Community for this specialty construction business and an opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of healthcare professionals to assist with discharges home and safe Aging in Place.

The Owners eventually went full-time in January 2017, hiring multiple technicians throughout the year, and adding vehicles to their fleet. Oakley Home Access opened their first Showroom in Narragansett Rhode Island in June of 2018, proudly featuring a wide variety of EZ Access products: Modular Ramps, Vertical Platform Lifts, and Portable Ramps. Also on display, Oakley Home Access features Brooks & Handicare Stair Lifts, a modified bathroom outfitted with CleanCut, Moen, Delta, & Drive Products, as well as wide variety of adaptive equipment for around the house including Stander Products.

Oakley Home Access is proud to offer our services throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Eastern Connecticut.

OHA also has a Walpole Massachusetts location, from which they can service all of Massachusetts with the same OHA business model is in place.

Proudly partners with a growing list of other Community resources, including the local Elk’s Club, YMCA, MS support groups, and multiple other fund-raising organizations.

Oakley Home Access plans to open multiple locations and teams throughout the northeast and eventually the country in the coming years.
