When it comes time to choose a company to help you or your loved one’s age in place, you will want to choose wisely. A general contractor, while being extremely talented in their world of new construction and major renovations, may not bring with them a true understanding of the needs and desires of those who require often simple solutions via home modifications to age in place. The choice you make in this process is an important one.

Aging in place has many benefits when appropriate including:

  1. More affordable than nursing home residency
  2. More comfortable to stay in familiar surroundings
  3. Helps slow the advancement of memory loss
  4. Strengthens your social and community network
  5. Staying at home allows seniors to have more autonomy, be more independent, and make their own decisions on a variety of topics

Oakley Home Access is unique when compared to a general contractor as we understand how important these benefits may be to you or a loved one. OHA is proud to partner with a wide variety of builders and contractors that defer to us when it comes to proper grab bar installation, stairlift installation, and modular ramp customization.
